My love for the sea started as a child, spending all seasons on the water with my family, watching boats grace the horizon and dreaming of grand maritime adventures. This fascination led me to a career in the maritime industry, starting when I joined the Royal Navy aged 16.

As the world grew more connected, I noticed a disconnect in the way the maritime industry and boating social media handles were being portrayed online. Boating businesses and yachting pages struggled to navigate the complex waters of social media, often missing the opportunity to connect with fellow sea lovers, potential customers and new followers.

I saw a unique opportunity to bridge my two passions: the maritime world and the ever-changing landscape of social media. Thus, ShipShape was born with a mission to provide tailored social media management to the boating and maritime sector.
